Due to recurring airspace restrictions in the Omsk area and the resulting inability to ensure safe and reliable operations in accordance with the published schedule, VIETJET QAZAQSTAN has decided to temporarily suspend flights on the Astana – Omsk – Astana route.
The safety of passengers and crew is the Airline's absolute priority. This decision has been made to ensure flight safety and to minimize the risk of extended delays and forced schedule changes.
Suspension Period
Flights on the Astana – Omsk – Astana route are cancelled from 9 July to 13 September 2026, inclusive. Information regarding subsequent flights will be updated as the situation develops. Passengers affected by these changes will be notified individually using the contact details provided at the time of booking.
The Airline Offers the Following Options
- Full refund of the ticket price with no deductions, including all unused segments of carriage booked within a single reservation.

You may request a full refund of the ticket price with no deductions, including all unused transit segments of carriage operated by VIETJET QAZAQSTAN.
The refund is processed at the original point of purchase:
- if the ticket was purchased on the VIETJET QAZAQSTAN website — through the Airline's Contact Center;
- if the ticket was purchased through a travel agency or online travel agency (OTA), please get in touch with the point of purchase.
