To celebrate Medical Workers' Day, VIETJET QAZAQSTAN recognised the efforts of Dinmukhammed Bekturgan, a young doctor who saved a passenger's life on one of its flights in 2025.
The incident occurred on a flight from Kyzylorda to Astana. During the flight, a passenger suddenly fell critically ill, suffering from cardiac and respiratory arrest. Bekturgan, an intern doctor at Astana Medical University who was travelling on the same flight, immediately stepped in to provide emergency medical assistance.
"The passenger suddenly became unwell, and the cabin crew made an announcement asking if there was a medical professional on board. It turned out that the passenger’s heart had stopped. I immediately began cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and we managed to restore the passenger's heartbeat. With about 50 minutes until landing, I stayed by the patient's side the entire time, monitoring his vital signs. After landing, I handed him over to the emergency medical services team,” he recounted.
Adilbek Umraliyev, the Chairman of the airline's Management Board, personally congratulated the young doctor on his professional holiday. He thanked him for his selflessness and high level of professionalism, and wished him continued success in his career.

Medical emergencies can occur on any flight, and we are deeply grateful to healthcare professionals who step forward without hesitation to help our passengers in their time of need, " he said.
In recognition of his life-saving efforts, Dinmukhammed Bekturgan was presented with a certificate of appreciation, branded airline merchandise and a complimentary flight voucher valid for any VIETJET QAZAQSTAN route until the end of the year.
